Occupational physical therapy

An occupational or workplace physical therapist ensures that symptoms that arise at work or are looming on the work floor are addressed.

Occupational physical therapy (also called industrial physical therapy) is used to prevent and treat work-related complaints. The therapist does this, for example, by giving advice about working posture, workstation setup, and the type of activities a person performs. This can take place both on an individual basis and at group level.
